Authors submitting manuscripts to LBS Publication are responsible for ensuring that the submitted material is complete, accurate and suitable for the requested publishing service.

• The manuscript should be submitted in the requested file format.
• Author names, affiliations and other publication details should be provided accurately.
• Authors should submit the final or appropriately prepared version of their manuscript.
• Significant changes after formatting, designing or typesetting may require additional time or charges.

The author is responsible for the originality, authenticity and legality of all material submitted for publication. Authors should ensure that their work does not unlawfully reproduce or infringe the intellectual property rights of another person or organization.

• Proper acknowledgement and citation of sources is the author’s responsibility.
• Necessary permissions should be obtained for copyrighted photographs, figures, tables, illustrations or other third-party material.
• Authors remain responsible for claims, statements, data and opinions expressed in their work.
• LBS Publication may decline material that presents significant legal, ethical or publication concerns.

Editing, proofreading, formatting, interior designing and cover designing will be performed according to the services selected or agreed upon for the publishing project.

The scope of revisions depends on the selected service. Major alterations, replacement of substantial manuscript content or redesign requests outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work.

Where a proof is provided for review, the author should carefully verify the book before providing final approval.

• Check spelling and presentation of author names.
• Review title, subtitle and other book information.
• Check chapter sequence, tables, figures, pagination and formatting.
• Review the cover and other publication details before approval.

Once final approval has been provided and the book has entered publication or production, subsequent corrections may require additional processing and may attract additional charges.

Where ISBN-related support is included in the selected publishing service, the relevant publication information will be processed using the details supplied and approved by the author.

Authors are responsible for providing correct book title, author information and other metadata required for publication. ISBN allocation or related processing may also be subject to the requirements and procedures of the relevant issuing authority.

Printing specifications, quantity, binding, paper type, size and other production details will depend on the package, quotation or specifications agreed upon for the project.

Minor variations in printed colour, positioning, paper appearance or finishing may occur as part of normal printing and production processes.

Where online listing or distribution is included, LBS Publication may facilitate the listing of books through selected online marketplaces or distribution channels.

Availability, listing approval, delivery coverage, product-page display, search visibility and continued availability may depend on the policies, systems and requirements of third-party platforms.

Publication or listing does not constitute a guarantee of any particular level of sales, ranking, reviews, readership or commercial success.

Charges for publishing services are based on the selected package, service requirements, manuscript specifications or quotation communicated for the project.

• Authors should verify the scope of services before making payment.
• Additional work beyond the agreed scope may be charged separately.
• Work may commence after the required payment or confirmation has been received.
• Applicable taxes, delivery costs or additional services may be charged where relevant.

Publishing services involve customized work such as manuscript processing, formatting, designing, administrative processing and production. Payments are therefore generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

A refund may be considered where appropriate if work has not yet been initiated. Once the agreed service has been completed or final work has been delivered, a refund will ordinarily not be available.

Where possible, reasonable service concerns will first be addressed through correction or revision in accordance with the agreed scope of work.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, authors retain copyright in their original literary work. The author remains responsible for ensuring that the manuscript and any incorporated third-party material may lawfully be published.

The author grants LBS Publication the permissions reasonably necessary to perform the agreed publishing, production, listing and distribution services.

Any estimated completion or publication timeline depends on factors including manuscript condition, author response time, revisions, design approval, printing, administrative processing and third-party platform requirements.

Authors are encouraged to respond promptly to proofing, information and approval requests to help avoid unnecessary delays.

Certain publishing activities may involve third-party marketplaces, printing services, payment systems, delivery providers or other external service providers.

Such services may be governed by their own policies and technical requirements. LBS Publication cannot control independent changes, interruptions, restrictions or decisions made by third-party platforms.

LBS Publication provides publishing-related services according to the agreed scope but does not guarantee sales volume, commercial success, academic recognition, ranking, reviews, citations or any particular outcome resulting from publication.

Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, claims and opinions contained in their manuscripts.

Personal information submitted to LBS Publication may be used for communication, manuscript processing, publishing services, order fulfilment and related administrative purposes.
